The Heart River member schools consider the Tech Center to be critical for developing and expanding workforce opportunities in North Dakota, and to provide alternate educational opportunities for the students within the member school districts. The Tech Center will reinvent career and technical education as it evolves from a vocational school model to one that ladders secondary education to higher education; builds careers in skilled trades, technology, and applied sciences; and meets the evolving demands for training today’s adult workforce.
